Introduction to Family Planning Training

This two day training is designed for health educators, outreach workers, and other community agency staff who are NOT working as family planning counselors in clinical settings and are interested in a very basic introduction to family planning and reproductive health.

TOPICS

Human Anatomy and Physiology, Sexual Health Basics, Reproductive/Sexual Health Basics, Birth Control Methods, Emergency Contraception, Pregnancy Options, Resources and Referrals. Participants attending the full two days will receive a certificate of completion.

FEE

$150 (includes handouts, light refreshments).
Ther’es no cost for staff of ABCD and MDPH funded family planning programs.
