Know Your Status

ABCD Health Services is part of the community, and we're invested in helping you avoid risk and take steps to address issues that could impact your sexual health. That includes knowing your status — getting tested for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections like chlamydia and gonorrhea. Early detection can make all the difference.

WHO QUALIFIES?

If you’re a Boston resident who’s 15 to 24 years old and you identify as a woman, get in touch.

LOVE YOURSELF. GET TESTED.

Boston residents ages 15 to 24 are almost four times more likely to have chlamydia than residents overall, and among that age group, 70% of those diagnosed are female. There’s no time to lose, and we invite you to join the campaign to end HIV/STIs among women and girls in Boston. Protect your #BlackGirlMagic, and know that we welcome all #GirlMagic, including trans women.

All year round, we produce events and workshops that feature free testing, including Testing Tuesdays. You’ll get a $10 gift card for participating, by the way.

In addition to hosting our own programs, we present at and participate in other organizations’ events. ABCD is also a founding member of “Take the Test Boston,” part of an initiative to increase HIV testing in communities of color as a response to the National HIV/AIDS Strategy. National HIV Testing Day is June 27th, and we collaborate with community organizations that week to test hundreds of people.for HIV and other STIs at no charge.

Most STIs can be cured if you seek treatment. Left untreated, the consequences can be very serious. The simple answer is to contact us today and get tested!
