Samantha Bennett serves in a Public Sector seat representing Boston City Councilor at-Large Michael Flaherty, where she works as Director of Policy and Research. Bennett has also worked at Iora Health as a Community Development Leader and has held various positions at Project Bread-The Walk for Hunger. Bennett has professional experience working in food security, specifically in federal and state food and nutrition programs, as well as professional experience working in healthcare transformation and community outreach. Bennett has academic training in research and earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology from Wheaton College (MA).
Bennett joined the ABCD Board of Directors in 2019 and serves as a member of the ABCD Equal Employment Opportunity (E.E.O.) Committee and the Neighborhood Programs/Planning & Evaluation (NPPE) Committee.
